Robin Callahan
Robin Callahan, became the Executive Director of the National School Foundation Association in September, 2016. Formerly she served as Executive Director of the Issaquah (iss a kwa) Schools Foundation in Washington State. Beginning as a board member in 1998, Robin worked collaboratively with the Staff, Board and District to create a culture of philanthropy in which the entire community values and invests in public education. She led a growth in annual revenue from $240K in 2002 to over $1.7 mil. She is a passionate advocate for students and public education, believing schools foundations are a highly effective conduit through which the community can transform lives. She was named Issaquah’s Citizen of the Year in 2015 and is the Immediate Past Chair of Leadership Eastside, an organization which “Equips leaders for the greater good”. She grew up on a farm in Southeastern Minnesota, and now resides on Fox Island, near Seattle.
