Colleges and universities have been reaping the benefits of connecting with their alumni for decades, and increasingly K-12 school foundations are engaging this essential stakeholder group. In this session, you will learn strategies for starting or developing your alumni relations program. We will discuss the benefits of alumni engagement (it’s more than just dollars!), making the relationship mutually beneficial, growing your database, ideas for alumni communications and events, and approaching alumni giving in ways that are meaningful to your graduates.
Presenters: Greg Diethrich, Executive Director, and Kristin Baumann, Alumni Relations Manager, of the Stevenson High School Foundation in Lincolnshire, IL.
Greg Diethrich joined the Stevenson Foundation in 2010 as its first employee, and in recent years he has led organizational growth to five full time employees, primarily in support of at-risk students. Joining him will be their new alumni relations manager, Kristin Baumann, who brings a unique perspective as a Stevenson alum herself.
